Boudoir Doesn’t Have a Type. It’s For Every. Damn. Body. (Including you!)
I built my business from a place of deep understanding, because boudoir changed my life before I ever picked up a camera (or even knew how to USE a camera!) And the thing about transformation? It doesn’t care about your gender, your age, your sexuality, your relationship dynamic, or any label the world has tried to put on you. It just cares that you showed up.
That’s what boudoir is. And this Pride Month, I want to say that out loud for everyone who needs to hear it.
This month we celebrate the courage it takes to be fully, unapologetically yourself. That courage looks good on everyone. And it looks incredible in front of my lens.
Boudoir is for anyone who has ever wanted to feel powerful, seen, and celebrated in their own skin. And that’s everyone. You step in front of my camera as yourself. The raw, real version of yourself, without the noise of the world. No matter what literally anyone else thinks.
My studio has always been a come as you are, all of you are welcome, nothing to prove kind of space. Every identity, every body, every story. And when you step into that space fully? Something shifts. And once that shift happens, it doesn’t really go back.
I can tell you that the moment someone decides to fully own who they are in front of my lens, it is electric every single time. That moment belongs to absolutely everyone, no matter who you are.
If you’ve ever wondered whether boudoir was meant for someone like you, it is. I never thought boudoir was for someone like me. Not even a little bit. And then I did it, and it changed everything. I thought boudoir was only for models or women gifting it to their partner before a wedding. But I was oh-so wrong. And it is because of the shift within myself that I built my business, knowing how powerful boudoir can be.
Just to say it again for the cheap seats in the back…when I have a session with a client, it is a “come exactly as you are”, all are welcome, nothing to hide or be ashamed of kind of space. Always. And that value is extremely important to me.
This Pride Month, I’m celebrating every person who has had to fight a little harder to feel worthy of being seen. You deserve photos that make you feel like the most powerful version of yourself. You deserve to walk out of a session knowing, in your bones and in every bit of your body and soul, that you are enough. You deserve to feel fierce and unstoppable.
